It's offical! They announced it. The new rear wheel drive V8 powered sedan is the Chevrolet SS. I'll post a link when I find it.

I agree. The LaCrosse is a nice car but a rear wheel drive version with a 400hp V8 would be sweet.

I might actually try to get this car since I'm selling my G8. Got less than a year to pay on my truck. So when it comes out I can afford it

It may be called a full-size vehicle, by today's standards, but after having sat in a G8 when they were out I'd hesitate to say these are truly full-size. I'm 6'3" 265lbs. and if this new SS is anything similar to the G8 I know I'm gonna feel like I'm sitting in something more akin to an old Nova than an old Impala or Chevelle.
