Tossing a 2" level on soon. Maybe today. I dont NEED new tires just yet. Stock 265/65/18s. Get the summer out of em for sure, but want new for the winter. i planned on stepping up to a Cooper AT3 265/70/18, but having a bit of trouble finding em local. Although I havent put a ton of effort into finding them. Looking today online and found a sale of BFG All terrain TA KO in a 285/65/18 for $149 a tire. I sorta wanted to stay away from the heavy tires. These are only 8/D vs E, but still obviously more then P. But this almost seems like too good a deal to pass on. I could always swap em on now, sell my current tires for $200. Or should I wait and find the Coopers? ARGGGG, so torn.

Will I hate my life with the 285s? i just dont want to pass on the great KO deal, knowing everyone talks so highly of the tires.

Did I mention ARRRGGG!! :freak::banghead::help:

Sure seems like a smoking deal on the BFG's and not to mention their good tires. I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on them, getting a great set of tires for that kind of money should have ya smiling for a long time. :-)

My vote is for the BFG's! I went through two sets of these on my old Colorado. Absolutely loved them. Great in winter and nice smooth ride. Plus thats a smokin deal..

Well that didn't take much arm twisting lol, but at that price it wouldn've took much for me either. Congrats on the new shoes.

Yeah 149 bucks a tire, how much did they soak you on the shipping? At that price for that size tire I would fear that something is up like old tires, blems, high shipping cost etc.

i put 285/70/17's on my 2003 4.8 and i didnt notice that much of a difference... good thing you got the tires, definatley worth it

Its a CDN shop. Not to sound like an A$$, but they're listed as limited stock. They were closed yesterday for Canada Day. Once I know my order has been completed I'll toss up the site. Hope you understand.

Also, 2" level is now on :D looks great IMO. I booked in for an alignment today. She drives straight as an arrow though, not sure I need it, but I suppose, best to be safe.

wow wow wow, Cooper Discoverer AT3s are not cheap locally! Called two shops, $265 & $326 were the prices I got per tire.

Discount tire direct has a 275/65/18 for $160/tire. 4 with taxes, shipping and duty/brokerage fees, $880. A lot better. Still might wait till fall to order. Hate choices lol

Also my alignment was way out. Truck drove straight as can be, no pulling to either side.
