Give me your opinions on my wheels

I'm starting to get mod fever again, and I'm looking for things to do that won't raise any "bank alarms" from the wife. I'm really leaning toward blacking out my wheels, but I want some opinions. I did a quick, and crappy, chop in Paint for reference. My 10 year old daughter likes em all black.

They look much better black on your truck IMO. S

eeing the rest of your truck is blacked out, they look perfect. The chrome kind of sticks out and takes away from the rest of the truck. I say go for it.

Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do this in the coming days. I think I'm going to plasti-dip the polished parts and leave the gloss powder as is. So I would have a gloss/matte theme going on. Basically how it is in the pic. Thoughts?

If I don't like that look then I'll go all gloss. As far as heads/tails, I'm thinking of clearing the headlights but I have no plans to tint the tails.

They would look great on your truck like that imo

Matt don't plasti-dip!!!!! Do a wrinkle black pcoat...will go nicely with the gloss pcoat

and def clear....im gonna clear mine

Ok. Is it a durability issue? I will most likely get them powdered but I want to see them before I go to all the trouble and not like the way it turns out. I would just buy new wheels, but my old lady would gut me.

They would look good all black. I like the clearing headlights idea too. I would also leave the taillights alone. I have yet to see tinted tails that looked or put out light that great afterwards.

I tend to agree. Although some tinted tails look good, it's just not something that I care to do.

If you plasti-dip just use a razor to remove the tape just be careful not to scratch the wheel. I had my wheels plasti-dipped and they looked great at first but as soon as they get dirty it is impossible to wipe of dirt unless you re-coat them.
