Good Exhaust For 8.1 Crew Cab Short Box

I was wondering what recommendations people may have for a 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew cab Short Box with an 8.1? Cant seem to find much on ebay or anything. Could just go the shop i normally go to and have a custom one done but want a good set up. Anybody? thanks!

id say have a custom exhaust built with the muffler or mufflers of your choice. i dont know if you have heard a straight piped 8.1, but it sounds pretty mean

I don't require emissions so I can do as I please!

 

I want to do whatever the best way to do it is. If that means straight pipes or not let me know!

The drone on the 8.1 is kind of a bummer, especially when pulling a load.

 

I had a FloPro muffler on mine, and also had a Flowmaster 70. The FloPro dealt with the drone a lot better.

 

I had just the single muffler with dual outs, and twin 3" tails dumping down and out at angle behind the tires.

I have true duals. Still has the cats. No x pipe. Guys at the exhaust shop talked me out of it. Don't remember why. Its a pretty reputable shop. Guy does some nice cars and Ive seen a few muscle cars hes done.
