Volucris Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 I have a 2007 Classic (GMT-800) 4.8/4 Spd. It had a few leaks that were fixed under warranty. Front Pump Seal on the Tranny, Rear Right Axle, and Oil Pan. No troubles after that. It has 75K on it. V
cs300823 Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I have a 2007 V-MAX (GMT-900) Only work done on mine was the transmission shift module for the 4-wheel drive had to be replaced but it was under warranty other than that AWESOME truck... 101,000 as of present date. :0)

I'd be sure to get a maintenance history report, (carfax and/or dealership type) and a serious and thorough test drive. I'd be more worried about the first 5 years of it's life under previous owner(s) vs original manufacterer defects. Just rolled over 100k miles on my truck and only routine maintenance minus front hub bearings.
