Transmission "bumping" on start

Exactly what the title says. Every now and then, when I start the truck, the tranny jerks. I've never heard of this, and it just recently started doing it(last month or two). It just bumps forward a little. Anything I should be worried about?

normal for most trans. mine dose it when ever the out side air and trans fluid is cold..around 55-60* just the colder/thicker fluid going thru the pump at start up..

Same here. Normal, hard to say, but since it's always done it I never thought of it as a possible problem. It used to do this all the time in the winter's of Alaska when I lived there. Now only on the extremely few "chilly" nights of Georgia.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've never really experienced it til this truck, my old one never did it, and everything else I drive is manual.
