No More Chrome ......... Opinions please

Ok bought a set of OEM 500 mile like new take offs for $95 off ebay this morning. Going to cut them open and take out the lenses paint the grill and bumper white and be done with it. After looking at pics of white trucks with the white bumpers and grills with cleared heads I beleive I will be happy. Can anybody steer me in the right direction for turn signal bulbs that are clear or chrome look or hide as best as possible with the amber lense removed that illuminate amber for blinkers? Also will be selling my tinted heads if anyone is interested when I complete the mod on my new ones if anyone is interested. Thanks

 

 

might just run to your autoparts stores and look at the lights. Some OEM replacements are made with clear glass, just look for one with the same socket and similar wattage. You can also just do a google for "chrome turn signal bulb" and find some options for chrome bulbs

Ok here we go round #2 color match grill and upper bumper....... now I am struggling with do I want to keep the tinted heads or not. What do you think cleared heads or keep tinted ones?

Your almost there . Paint the lower section white as well and clear the headlights and your all done

I'd say clear headlights. However I do like rest of the front just the way it is.

Clear headlights and do black billet inserts. New wheels would help too.

I think if your truck was heavily modded, you maybe could've pulled off the previous look. Kind of like this one.

Round one looked very mean to me. I like round 2 a little better, i would paint the bowtie in the grill tho
