Would you Buy?

Hey guys, I'm Looking at a 2003 1500HD with 158,000 miles for 12K. It has a new transfer case, and has been serviced, new filters, plugs, wires, etc... It is white and is super clean in and out, no rust anywhere, even under neath the truck. It was mostly driven highway miles. It won't be my main transportation, but I will drive it like a car, long trips, errands and such. What do you think?

Truck looks nice in pic. What's the blue book? I'd say price is a little high but not sure. And just because he still owes $12k doesn't mean that's what you should pay...

A quick look at KBB says about $10,000.

It would go for that up here too, no problem. I know a guy who is asking $16,500 for a 2004 1500HD with 95K on it and several people are looking at it. I wish I lived where you guys do because it sounds like you can steal trucks there.

like everyone else has said its over priced. worth around 8500.

 

the owner probably thinks since he put rims and chrome door handles on it its worth about 3000 more.
