Question about fuel pump

I need a new fuel pump for my truck. I have a couple questions about what I've found and I need to locate the correct pump. I would like to replace the entire unit, including the fuel level sensor. I called my local Chevy dealer, gave them my VIN and they said the part number I need is 19152213. I called my local AC Delco supplier and also checked with RockAuto.com and they both state that I need AC Delco part MU1606. The problem I have is that MU1606 corresponds with GM part number 19152214, not 19152213. Does anybody know what the difference is? I appreciate any information.

From taking a brief look at the online AC Delco parts catalog I think you need an MU1607 assuming that you have a "Z" engine code, MU1606 for "T". The different part numbers seem to be related to the type of body on the truck....it is somewhat confusing.

Post me your VIN and I'll look it up if you want.

I found out the difference in the two fuel pumps. MU1606 (GM 19152214) is the AC Delco fuel pump that includes the fuel level sensor. The GM part number given by the dealer (19152213) cross references to an AC Delco part (M10095) that does not include the fuel level sensor. My dealer told me that 19152213, which sells for $453, doesn't come with the sensor either. That would cost another $180. I guess AC Delco thought it would be best to replace all of it at once and created a part number for all of it. I ordered the MU1606 and will replace it soon. BTW, I paid $248 with free shipping for the complete module. Thanks.

Oh, I do have the "T" coded engine.
