Was thinking about picking up Recon's cab roof lights to my Silverado. Opinions? Amber, Smoked, or Clear?

I think they would look good in smoked. The only thing is a guy I work with bought some for his Tundra and the install went pretty bad I guess. Can't remember why now, but it might not even be a problem with your truck since it's a completely different truck.

are you sure you want to drill holes into your roof to install them? many people who do have issues with leaks.

and i personally wouldnt put clearance lights on a 1500. IMO

Silicone caulk is your best friend. I have installed about 5-6 of these on friends trucks and never had one leak.

I had a friend who installed on his GMT800 2500 and had endless leaking issues and said he caulked them. probably didnt do it right though. I dont think i could justify drilling holes into a newer truck though.
