Mice

Over the last couple days I've been in the in the process of killing mice in my shed.  They are so little they won't set off the traps so I got a few with those sticky traps that you can buy.  I ran out of those so I've got a big suprise for the rest.  I've taped a mini mag light to the barrel of a pellet gun and I'm gonna give them a little time to settle down and then go sit in the shed in the dark and go "hunting" later.  My wife thinks I'm crazy.  Maybe I should change my user name to "Sniper".  Where's my camo make-up?

BTW, took my truck in today for a couple recalls, clunking/rattle type noise in the rear end/suspention area when hitting dips in the road, and replacing the intermediate steering shaft, and the fuel pump occasionally making some buzzing/humming sounds when ideling.  They won't have it ready until tomorrow, so I'll fill everyone in then.

We had problems with mice in our shed last spring.  They were all really small, but we didn't have any problems catching them in the traps.

Good luck hunting tonight.

btw, you must be a pretty good shot with that pellet gun.   LOL

Get a 5-gallon bucket and put 4 inches of anti-freeze in it. Angle a board up to the edge of the bucket like a ramp. Hang a ball of string thoroughly goobed up with peanut butter over the bucket, just out of reach of the mouse when he gets to the top of the ramp. The mouse, reaching for the peanut butter, falls in the bucket. The anti- freeze keeps it from stinking.

LOL well I think I'd try to be macho mr hunter and blow their asses away with my power washer...... :D (cruelty no?)

And as for recalls, our 99 just got 3 new ones, seatbelts, yet another brake, and something to do with the rearend.  Its taking a long time to pop into reverse, or wont everynow and then.  ? <--- very puzzled on that one.

I would really like my wiper motor fixed....i hate it when it comes on when the temps over 70 outside......
