Treadwrights have been around for years and are proven. If they offered something in my size I'd get them without hesitation.

Have you ever driven a truck with oversize treadwrights or other retreads? I know a couple jeep guys that have 37s on their jeeps, and they're afraid to go over 50 on the highway because the jeep shakes that bad. They both trailer their jeep to uwharre (popular wheeling spot in NC) even though its only 45 minutes away by highway

Jeeps are notorious for wobble when lifted, they're lousy like that. I have not personally driven with them but I've heard lots of positive feedback on them.

and yet i know of TJs and JKs with 40 toyos that ride way better. Hell, event tires like mud graps and iroks have a death wobble at 70

Not to continue off subject but my uncles HD has mud grap 37's and at 70 or 80 on the highway it feels stable. Road with him on the interstate to 4 wheel jamboree in indy two years ago, 3 hour ride.

I think some of the shake or wobble comes from the tire being out of balance and not many shops have the equipment to get the tire and wheel combo in check.

And the quality of work being done. And frog you're more than welcome to offer an opinion but like I said toyos and nittos are out of reach so don't continue to shove them down my throat and tell me what's right/wrong I'm looking for alternatives to the big names so if you can't offer that then kindly browse elsewhere.

I have 33s and 34s until I can get the right rims and tires and everyone keeps saying them sizes are fine on this lift so I'm going to run them until I get better tires

You'll be alright with what you already have for awhile, just start saving A LOT for something a little better. :driving:

Fixed it.

Even looking for regular size tires most of the tires I've looked at have been close to or over $1k.

True True, however a good mud tire/more expensive one, is going to last a very long time compared to something else.
