Something besides deletion. That's not for you to worry about. I can see your posts just fine

Your valuable posts have been hidden from the community because you're having a hard time staying on topic until you make posts that stay on topic you can see them.

Don't ban me bro, but you maybe you should take your own advice here. Everyone has opinions. If don't want to hear them try PMing those who agree with you.

Yes there are opinions and then he didn't listen to what I had to say about not affording toyos or nittos if he can't provide an alternative tire then he doesn't need to sit here and insist "do it my way or do nothing" that's not opinion it's irritating

So lets get on topic

I have made 3 posts that have magically disappeared from this thread. If they weren't "deleted", then what happened to them?

As has been explained about your posts, the reasoning behind the action is this:

From the Site Rules:

"We require all posts to be positive, constructive, and on topic. We may

delete individual posts that could ruin a good topic thread."

Your posts were hidden, not deleted so as to keep the thread from being derailed. Continued arguing about this in public is also against site rules and could result in further sanctions

I am not locking nor have I warned about a lock

I didn't say you made that statement bud, my point was that most all threads that go this far off topic and continue to do so most always get locked. This was a good thread for people considering retreads and now it has crashed and burned. I wasn't calling you out dude.

Maybe the site is glitching, as my posts don't show up...

There are plenty of other "off-topic" posts in this thread (and throughout the forum), yet mine are the only ones that are "deleted". Seems you just have a personal problem with me.

you need to follow the site rules, how hard is this to understand?

Dad used to have his tires recapped all the time for his tractor trailer. He blew a few out, but it was because the sidewall of the tire was old and worn out. The two he had blow out are ones he got from his cousins garage from his dump truck. Both of them blew out on the sidewall so it wasn't anything to do with them being recapped just oversight on his part with the bad sidewall. Id say if they do a good job on them using good rubber they'll be fine.

I wouldn't be afraid of them then.

Not to get all gushy and green, but you'd also be saving four more tire carcasses from the landfill, and that's not a bad thing. If you like them, get them. If it doesn't work out you always have next year's tax return.

My landfill allows people to take 4 tires per year. But there is a separate recycling spot for appliances, tires, metal, and other things

I always said tires should be made into roads

I think they are, partially at least. Old tires are also used to make the turf on sports fields as well as running tracks.
