I usually don't cheap out on anything but since they will only run spring summer and fall I'm not too incredibly worried I'm trying to weigh my options here

It has always been a tough pill to swallow for me but I force myself to wait until I have the money to get what I want. Too many times I've spent twice what I would have buying something quick instead of waiting and getting what I really want.

If you don't have 2G for good 35's, then don't put the lift on until you have the money for Toyo's, Nittos, or something of the sort. Or if you can run the wheel/tire setup you have now throw the lift on and look goofy for awhile. That's just my $0.02...

I'd look around for a nice used set of Toyo's or Nitto's before running what you have in mind. I've seen them around here for anywhere from $600 - $900 in good shape.

Lifts going on in a week or two and I have 34s for it till I find something I'm still looking

Ill say I had these on my 2008 avalanche and I loved them ran them for 30k and still looked good when I traded it in. They have great customer service too. Retreads have come along way inthe past few years. When people say just look on the road they are wrong, the treads u usally see on the road are from semi trucks and have a big load and a ton of miles on them. I got the kedge grip in my which helps grip on the snow and ice and is worth the extra 40 bucks. There are a lot of reviews of these tires on jeep forums and hardly a bad word said about them. Road noise is the same as any mud terrain. They will be my replacements on my 2012 cc when it comes time. I say go for it! I never had an issue with mine.

I'm seeing good reviews for them on pirate 4x4

There are millions of retreads on the road. I wouldn't be afraid of them. A lot of them advertise better thread wear than oem tires, due to rubber compound differences. I've never looked into them myself, but with a little research it wouldn't be a bad thing.

I'm just tired of everyone saying toyo or nitto I can't afford them if I had the money I'd have a set of toyo open country's but that's just a dream.. So until then I need to improvise

Improvise yourself on over to CL and pick up up a used set of the tires you really want, if you settle you probably won't be satisfied. Hell, I think Frogfish had five 35x12.50 Toyo on here for like $900 awhile back.

I like the looks of these tires. I don't cheap out on tires either but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a retread. Growing up that's all we could afford to get for our cars.

Now if you're looking for another option..have you look at Mastercraft tires. They're are the "store band" of Coopers but they are cheaper. I've gotten about 40k miles out of mine and have worn pretty good. Plus they have several kinds (HT, AT) to pick from.

You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

Can you save to get the better brand tire?

Here in a couple of weeks, I'm getting 33" Toyo MT's.

Waiting on that tax return.

I think I'll go ahead and replace mine soon, I just have a hard time spending $800

especially on something that wears out quickly
