Help Service Traction Controll, Service Stabiltrack, Service ABS came

We got about a foot of snow today and I had to get out to P/U my son from work. Truck ran great just like always. Its amazing how well it handles the snow with the 20" Sierra Denali tires. I had to get in some really deep snow the snow plow pushed up in order to go around some stuck cars. I'm not sure what happened, but now the Stabiltrack and ABS lights are on and the DIC says, Service Traction Control and Service Stabiltrack. I tried restarting the truck and also turning the steering wheel to re-set the system like the owners manual says, but the lights are still on.

How bad is it messed up and can I drive it until I can get it to the dealer? Seems to run and drive fine, but I know ABS isn't working.

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes then reconnecting. If that doesnt work maybe you damaged some wiring when you went over the plough ridge??? Its fine to drive just be cautious if the abs isnt working.

This morning, I start it up and, no warning lights or DIC messages. I drove a couple of miles and everything seems to be working fine. Traction control and stabiltrack will turn off and on, something it wouldn't do yesterday. The snow had all melted off it in the garage overnight so I'm wondering if a wheel sensor or something could have froze up and stop working. It was a heavy wet snow and only 22 degrees yesterday so everything was freezing quickly.

This has happened to me a couple times in my 2007 NBS.. Once, when I first bought it and didn't know the truck yet.. Pulled a friend out of the mud and forgot to turn off traction control. The lights were on for a day then went away..

Then I just got buried in the snow a couple weeks ago, turned off traction control and stabilitrak, but all that crap still came on.. It went away after getting to my destination and turning the truck off. I wouldn't worry too much.

Even when disabled, the truck was still fighting traction control.. Its like it doesnt completely turn off.

It never completely turns off even when you hold down the button. Only way to do that is remove the stabiltrak/traction control/abs fuse. Which turns off all them so its not really recommended.

Even then I think it's still not all fully disabled. I think they still try to stop wheel spin by using the brakes even though you hold down the botton.

I believe my 09 did this when I was trying to help pull my dad out of some mud in his tractor trailer. It was more annoying than anything, but it didn't affect to much. Just seemed to make it a little more time consuming getting him out.
