welp, The 2013 NASCAR Season Kicked off today, with ANOTHER Win to Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports. (The way NASCAR looks now, If you're not Affiliated with Hendrick or Roush-Fenway, you're pretty much DOOMED to Fail.)

Yea it was a pretty boring race. Every time they change the cars the racing gets more boring.

Change specs to engine CI, cage, and tires only and I guarantee it would be more interesting. Now drivers talk about "turning" I think it would be more interesting to hear them talk about controlling their car when shooting NOs. Less rules=more innovations which is what NASCAR was supposed to be about. Until they remove some rules it won't be racing, just the only sport drunk people can understand.

im a fairly big nascar cup fan and i have 2 bitches here

1- you r rite ,it was a boring race however watching danica was cool as she kept hers

2- my country will deliver the race thru a canadian station , TSN even though i tuned into fox ,,,,us poor canadians had to suffer more commercials than is nessessary and the split sceen at the end for racing and commercials ,,,racing having the smaller screen makes me insane

yes big teams are the norm ,,ching ching wins races

and kyle bush is a douche ,he has to go ,,,i wish nascar could see he is a hazard to the sport and wrecked some good drivers and said "my bad" ? really ? karma bit him with a blown up engine , i giggled like a 3 yr old after that ...

rant off ...either way i love my Daytona 500s

Yea Busch wrecking Stewart & Harvick ruined it for me. Everyone was hating on Danica, and this moron wrecks half the field. I really enjoyed watching his jap crap car blow it's Turd Racing Development engine sky high.

Most boring 500 ever, I passed more cars on my 40 mile drive to work this morning than Jimmie Johnson passed for a 500 mile "race". The new car looks cool and I like you can pick out a manufactuer by looks instead of what emblem is on the grill. Anyone watch the Nationwide race? Kyle Larson had some karma happening there I think after that crap he pulled on Monday in the late model race

I agree it is just not the same since his death, I also believe alot of it comes from silver spoon in his mouth born Brian France and his $ driven ideas to make the sport better

Yea the passing just wasn't there this year. I miss the two car tandem. I liked how the cars could break away somewhat, and the racing and finishes were awesome. Since Nascar started tinkering to get away from that the racing has gotten worse.

I wasn't a fan of the tandems either, but it was better than what we have now. I really enjoyed Speedway racing back when it was 3 wide 10 deep and guys like Earnhardt could go from 18 to the win in 3 laps moving all over the track, That was exciting

Oh come on now bud, like that has never happened before lol. I've seen that kid in USAC, 410 winged sprints, silvercrown cars, midgets, and the kid can flat out wheel anything he is in. Now he is showing that on asphalt on the biggest stage.

Yeah he can drive, and I am not against a little bump and run for the win done it more than once but the flat out drive through the dude was just a dick move.
