Help. Wheel vibration

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi im new here so forgive me if im in the wrong area. I have an 06 silverado with aftermarket wheels. When i apply the brakes theres a bit of a vibration. I just installed new rotors. The inner tie rod ends were worn out so i replaced them along with a front end alignment and had the tires rebalanced. The vibration is slightly better, but is still there only when i apply the brakes. Was hoping to get some input on this situation. Thanks

Are your aftermarket wheels "out of round"? This can be checked on the balance machine BEFORE the tire is installed, they spin the rim at low rpm to see if it "wobbles".
