Either an amber bulb or a clear one that burns amber.

Depends on where you live. In Texas front turns have to be amber, clear or a color in between the two. Rears have to be red, amber, or in between. I painted my turn signal bulbs until my stealth bulbs come in. They are chrome but burn amber.

I love the Switchbacks from V-LED. It's bright white (5000K) when the running lights are on, then switch to amber for the flashers. The cool part is they wig wag to the white (or any color installed) side marker lamp then back to amber during the flash cycle. I modded the DRL's into another directional lamp and added another pair of switchbacks.

I use the SilverStar ZXE H13/9008 bulbs in my Yukon Denali, they are rated @ 4200K, and give off a white light.

 

When driving during the daytime, I turn off my headlights (thanks GM!!!!).

Do u like the zxe in your truck? I put em in my grand am when I bought it and idk if its just that car or what but I hate em so far

So far so good, the Yukon headlight housing are on the large size, and they have quite a light dispersement, nice and white compared to the stock bulbs.

Hi all: Drivers side burned out on my 08 last week. I picked up 2 new Silverstars today. Needless to say, trying to get my big hand in to remove the old bulbs was painful. I had to take the passenger side battery out, remove some of the trim, and unbold the top portion of the washer fluid neck to be able to bend it back to get my hand in there to untwist the low beam socket. the passenger side required me to remove the air filter and it was a PITA to get to the wiring and socket. Any tips for next time? I love the brightness of the silverstars, they are more brighter and more crisp, had a few folks in cars flash me thinking that my high beams were on tonight, little did they know.

Trade it in for a gmt800 on mine u pull 2 pins from the headlight housing and out she comes!
