Air Filter

monday i am trading my 2012 1500 for a 2012 2500.

 

i currently have a K&N air filter in my 1500, does the 2500 use the same filter?

I think so. My 2011 5.3L Yukon uses the same air filter my 2012 6.0L 3500HD does.

Gas or Duramax ?

If getting a Duramax my vote would be no.

Bring the parts and compare before you sign the papers. If they fit put the stock parts back on the old truck if you still have them and then switch out the parts off the new truck back at home after a few days to make sure the new truck runs correctly.

sorry yeah this is a gasser. I have the stock air filter from my 1500 i am going to throw back in today and keep the K&N out.
