So let me get this straight, I have a 2014 truck with the regular headlights and I want the LTZ projecter style ones. So I can walk in a dealer order the ltz headlights and plug them up in my truck and they will work?

Does yours not have them?

I was under the impression that all LTZ's came with them. The light output is nothing special compared to other vehicles but I like the way they look

I think he's asking what's so great about the projectors themselves...?

Projectors are designed to focus the light straight ahead, restricting the light output to a small rectangle area in front of vehicle, while reducing light scatter up & to the sides. The idea being you don't blind other motorists and, because the light is more precisely aimed, you can use brighter bulbs. Most higher-end companies that use projectors fit them with HID bulbs.

Problem is, GM used halogen bulbs & lower quality lenses in their K2 projectors. The overall output, while adequate & within regulations, is not sufficient for many members (myself included). Some of us have swapped for HID bulbs. Silverado guys can swap bulbs & projectors for aftermarket. No Sierra owner has yet to post a projector swap.

Yeah reading back over his statement you're right...

MotoMedic have you seen a side by side comparison of Silverado vs. Sierra with stock bulbs? It seems like Sierra owners are complaining a lot more than Silverado owners...
