Short man syndrome

Any of you verticaly challenged people out there try checking their oil yet? I'm 5' 6" and can't reach the oil dipstick! If I was 1/2 to 1" taller I could. It's funny how they made the tranny dipstick so long and the oil so short. In my 04, in 9 years 106,000 miles I probably only looked at the tranny fluid 3 times.

 

Maybe GM will make a front bumper step on the driver side for us short guys!

We mess with my boss at work cause he has a 07 classic 2500 and he is about 5'2 so it's funny to see him have to hop up into the seat lol. Call him Indiana Jones cause he needs a rope/whip to swing into his truck!

I had a spring loaded front license plate that doubled as a step on my conversion can and I loved it !!! over 6 foot giant to booot .

I posted this in my first informal review. While looking at a new Chewy, I could barely reach the DS from the front and I am 6'3" . Had to reach from the side with my left arm. will be hard to check with out getting oil all about.
