08 non nav to 12 nav

Hello,

 

Does anyone know if a full nav unit from a 2012 would hook up to a 2008 non nav system. I have the rear dvd.

 

I was going to upgrade to a nice DVD/nav double din system but found a guy selling a factory system from a '12.

 

Or am I better off looking at an Alpine/pioneer/kenwood system?

 

This is a Bose system with no sub.

Advent OGM-1 from Walt at ADC Mobile would be the way I would go.

Thanks I have looked at the OGM system. It appears to be what I would want as far as options go.
