The trucks come with two card, toll ticket, receipt, cash bill holders, etc. That what the plastic tab on each visor is designed for, simply slip the paper or cardboard under the leading tab edge with the hole......on all GM visors.

I was looking at some literature and I guess GM maybe Chevy put something useful if you didn't get an option so its just not a blank button. The article didn't elaborate but it seems if you didn't get cooled seat option you would have a storage box not a blank spot where the missing option fits. I have no idea what is in place of each missing option but that's defiantly a card holder

 

But really its to give you a warm fuzzy feeling instead of I wish I had got (insert option here)

Everyone knows the slot is there for post bar-closing trips through the drive through. After you order, you have X number on mins to find, drop, and find again your ATM card and put in the slot so it's ready when you get to the window to pay.

 

If you're skipping the drive-through (why would you?) you put your License, registration and proof of insurance cards there. When you get pulled over, the cop will be so impressed that you could find all three without dropping anything, he'll think "This guy must be OK. Time for coffee." Then he'll tell to get home now, and safely or he'll be looking for you. Ask me how I know.
