I' m leaning towards the Fold-A-Cover G4 myself. Looks better built.

I just read someone on here posting about the Undercover model. I like what I saw after watching the video.

I put the Undercover Flex on mine. The thread with the pictures of my new truck has a link and my thoughts on it.

Did you have to trim anything? fold-a-cover website says trimming is required?

I had mine installed before I got it. I didn't see anything trimmed anywhere. The only thing I noticed was a couple of holes drilled for the drain tubes in the back of the bed. I had that covered with a bed rug, so you can't even see it.

I just had the Chevy tri- fold hard cover installed on a 2014 Z71/ LTZ offroad crew cab. Not sure I like it, didn't know the cover was vinyl. I like how it operates, just not sure of the finish.

Just bought and installed the BakFlip G2. I like the fit and finish - seems like it should be durable. I have a few spots where it looks like water might be able to get in. Need to do a little more research on how to tighten those up, but otherwise happy. Got it off Amazon for ~$550 including free two day shipping with Prime.

I went with the undercover for 2 reasons (as I recall from a month ago). Local business stocks a bunch and I had a hard time deciding between with these two and the Extang. I don't have a truck yet so can't eval any fit or install. The UC is composite vs alum on Bak read eval's about easy to dent Baks vs a friend with a 4 yr old UC still looks like new. The latching mechanisms are similar but cleaner on the UC. I think the Bak is maybe better if you want full bed open but some have had dents on the cab.

I went to AutoAnything and read so many reviews it put me to sleep. But that's one way to get some info.

I think you captured all the points. The undercover is an improved design but I went with the BAK G2 simply because it was on sale via Amazon for $550 with free shipping, $250 cheaper than the UC. If they were the same price the UC would be on my truck.
