Is this the same harness as the Camaro or similar and what's the cost of the SLE harness? When can you get some pics up?

Talked to 2SSRS (Ofer) on the phone and he's a very nice guy and very knowledgeable. I guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one.

Phydiux and I actually figured this out a couple months ago. We just didn't have time to get anything formal together.

The diagram he sketched out and posted above works great. All you need are a couple of relays, four stock connectors available from Mouser electronics, and some wire. Oh, and a little patience and assembly skill.

There is nothing magical about the SLT headlights. Apply 12v to the right pole at the right time, and it will light up as desired. The ballast on the back of the headlight is just that - a ballast, for the LED's. There is no logic on it that I can tell.

I created a relay setup on my test bench (following phydiux's diagram above) and it works just like the stock headlights on the SLT / Denali trucks.

It'll run you about $30 in parts per headlight, if you're so inclined to try it. Just be warned, there is a lot of crimping involved, if you use the stock connectors.

If not, I'd just wait for the ones that 2SRSS is building for sale. A close look at the one he made for the Camaro looks just like the ones I built for the Sierra, only the Camaro one looks even more complicated.

Have fun guys!

So we tested it today, it all works like we said it will, no need for load rissisters, its 100% Plug and play, here is how it works, start your truck no lights on at all, put it in to gear, lower LED comes on at full power, you drive like this all day long, at night the side makers come on with the headlight in low beam, and so do the 2 LED bars in low power, flash or turn on the hight beams the LED's stay on and your high beam is on too.

In day time if you turn on the side markers the LED come on in low beam, and at any time you can use your High beams to flash a car.

Last your BCM will never know what we did it will think this is normal.
