It was a joke. I never miss an opportunity to quote Ron Burgundy.

Haha, I'll post proof I'm sure more people will think I'm liar. On a side note how much hp/tq you making at the wheels on your WS6?

Never had it dyno'd but similar setups have made 340ish to the wheels.

Doing the same. Been lurking this forum specifically for this thread for nearly a year now. Way too many unbelievable deals posted here, and certainly not everyone posting straight facts.

Here's where I'm at:

Currently talking to 3 dealers, all with nearly identical trucks, Msrp all within $400 of $52k. No trade, no financing, qualify for $1750 in rebates. Best Price is $44.5k (Laura). Can get within $700 locally, or $1500 more at closet dealer to me. I'd buy today for 20% off Msrp, but at current offers, I'll wait a few more months.

Here is what mine offered.

MSRP 42,860

Discount 9,598.00

Net Selling Price 33,262.00

OTD w/ TTL etc 38,237.00

But what I am seeing is they only want to give me 1k on the trade on a 2014 Sierra DBL SLE w/ 13k miles.

What are your thoughts on this?

Need to break down the $9598 further.

How much is an actual discount? How much is rebates? How much is trade in?

I'm guessing by saying they only want to give you $1k on trade, that's $1k more than you owe. Not knowing what you owe, that could be a great offer, or lousy.

Also, don't forget to break down the OTD w/ ttl price to see if that is straight sales tax and state registration cost, or if they are burying further fees in there as well.

So here is how they are breaking it down

I owe 25,886 and they offered 25k even trade in.

MSRP 42,860.00

5,598.00 Discounts

4k rebates

33,262.00 net selling price

with ttl and the 886 neg equity OTD comes out to 38,123.53

Kinda on the fence. Not looking like a decent deal at all. Feel like they are dealing low low on the trade in

Picked up my new 2014 High Country Crew Cab today. MSRP was $51730. Out the door, with TTL, was $39,844. I had about $850 in gm card discount.

Herlong Chevy in SC was the dealer.

How?

Discount off MSRP, about $3000. Rebates and incentives (truck month incentives) of about $6750, plus the gm card earnings. There are good deals to be had on some of the truck month vehicles.

How does that add up to $15k?
