23k off sticker price is pretty great. Almost makes you wonder why MSRP is so inflated to begin with.

That was my thought. The MSRP on the truck before the southern comfort package was 50,xxx. The dealer said nobody was interested in the 6.2's that were on the lot. It and one other 6.2 had sat there for a while but they kept moving the 5.3's. After driving a Black Ops by Tuscany package I thought the 5.3 was underpowered running down the highway at 70+. Mine only had 65 miles on it when I bought it so who knows.

2015 Silverado LTZ Z71 2LT package, 4X4, with the Chevy 22" wheel package... Pretty much every option available except sunroof, sticker was $55k+, I got it for $47k. The dealership also carries Cadillac /Buick/GMC - They had a sick deal on a Sierra SLT with absolutely every option available... Should have bought them both lol

Just bought my first GMC and only second truck. At 46 maybe now I'm a grown up. Anyway bought from Laura as they are only about 15 minutes from my house.

2015 Sierra w/ SLT Crew CAb Value Package ($2095), Audio with 8" screen and nav ($495), Full front leather seats ($375). Sticker was $49,010. Paid $38,946 plus $595 for the folding tonneau and $595 for Line-X. I was in and out in about 2 hours. The Saturday I did the transaction the showroom was a revolving door of people coming in to buy trucks. It was like they were giving them away.

BTW, love this truck.

If you're looking for a 4x4 you should come to South Florida to buy one - they are being deeply discounted. Many 4x4s are selling for the same price or slightly less than similarly equipped 2 wheel drive trucks.

Just curious what made you pick one over the other?

Just a few minor subtleties - I liked the Silverado front end a little bit more. There was more room to negotiate on the Chevy as well. Finally, the dealership had a very nice selection of both Chevys and GMCs, but I didn't see the exact truck I wanted in the Sierra - minor things, I could have easily gone either way as I do like the Sierra styling quite a bit.

I got a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 4x4 Z71 double cab MSRP of 46000 for 35,500. Very nice truck. The dealer actually got the price down 2K cheaper than an SLE I was looking at.

Just bought a 2014 Sierra 1500 SLE Crew cab 4x4 last week at a local dealer. MSRP was $46,010 and paid $30,826. Now grant it that the truck is a year old (or more) already, but I was happy with the final price. Had an 09 Silverado 4x4 and I really like the changes that were made in 2014.
