Hey... Could you fill me in on your Chrome trim tail lights and the Chrome Tailgate Latch... Make and Model, Self Install, Prices, Where you got them... Been looking for a pic of a truck with them and finally found yours...

Also... Looks like we have the same OEM Side steps... Are yours open at the ends like mine.. In other words, no caps... If not, any concerns? I think they may rot, peel, degrade, etc faster...

Rawyzf... Thanks bud... I didn't realize they are just a trim piece the sticks on the tail lights...

1MOGAM... Is your tail gate Latch the stick on Chrome trim as well... They look great in the picture from 6-8 ft away... How do you like them? Any issues with the rear assist camera on the latch using the chrome stick ons?

That looks great man! Are you going to do a write up on how to get the SLT lights working on the SLE's? Previously the thought was that getting the DRL's was not possible on the SLE's.

Thank you! Actually these were plug and play. There is a guy on gen5diy that sells the oem lights with the harness already set up for it to be plug and play. 1400 is the price but i got him down to 1k because it was his last set. I can provide you the link if interested ?

That's honestly not a bad deal. I know the Ford HID Projector headlights go for ~$1200 on ebay with a similar plug and play harness. The SLT headlights are great looking and drastically improve the daytime appearance of the truck. I found the website too, had never heard of it.

I think if I was to spend $1k on headlights, it would be for an FXR projector retrofit. That's just me though.

Thanks, and I do agree it makes me love the truck more. Remember that you can always sell the spare lights to recoup some of the costs. If you go ahead and do the projector retrofit post up pictures. Either way i bet it would look sharp

Let the idiots start the bash but guess what! This thing towed 5000+ feet of elevation and did great! Trailer loaded only was 8500 pounds loaded with only 1100 hitch weight and I still got 8.0 mpg. Towing a 5th wheel is so much better then an bumper pull!!!!!
