I've put about 350 miles on my 2017 5.3 8 speed with the latest software version range AFM disabler installed. So far so good, definitely like the way it drives in V8 all the time.

I did the same thing. Mine arrived Thursday night and put it on for a longish drive I had on Friday, but it still kicked in the v4. It's on 8.1 software but called the company and they are going to send a new one. When looking at the device plugged in, only the left light comes on and it never goes to sleep. Something nerfed in the programming I am sure.

Just to add this here:  The range devices are being sold on woot (trusted site) for $99.99 with $5 shipping.  I bought one and just waiting for it to arrive.  3 days left or until sold out.
