CorvetteOJ Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Progress is being made! I got my VIN number yesterday with a new event code of 3800. Dealer says it should be approximately two weeks before we see it. I ordered my 6.2 Denali on September 19th. That was the first day GM opened ordering for both the 6.2 and the Denali. If I do see it in two weeks, that would make the total time from order to delivery...6 weeks. Of course, there is still that one big if..."if we see it in two weeks." Here's hoping!!!
clayp Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 That should be one sweet ride. Congrats on the progress!
Willc11 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Thanks good news! I ordered my Denali on September 20th. As of last week, I was showing event code 3400. My dealer is stating he should have a VIN for me this week. Makes sense since our 2 orders where only a day apart. Can you see your order on the gm connects website? Mine does not show up, but I will point out the order has to be past 3800 for updates. Kept posting updates! Will RHNC6C

As a matter of fact, you may have it by now. I cannot see anything on GM Connect website. It must be down. I read where it went down in July. I have tried to use it numerous times in the last 4 weeks but can never get past the sign on page. I just tried it again and it actually locked up my computer. I guess I will just continue waiting. By the way, where are you located? Good luck with yours.
Jeff48 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Have you tried the chat on the GM website? I did with my Sierra and always got great info on my build process. You'll need the order number from your dealer.
CorvetteOJ Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 No Jeff, I haven't tried the Chat. I'll check it out. Thanks a million!
Willc11 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Hi Corvette OJ, I am located in Texas, about 30 miles west of Ft. Worth. I was able to chat online with our friends at GM. She couldn't give me an order event, but said this: "RHNC6C The vehicle status is as follows; The vehicle has been accepted for production. The vehicle is currently being produced." So I guess I am way behind you. Let's stay in touch on a weekly basis. Will
