The guys that did my swap have finally perfected the GMT 900's now. Here is mine

That's how my '99 Silverado looked after I swapped out the regular bulbs for blue LED's a few years ago.

I have light blue led bulbs in mine. When I had mine done I asked him about the 900 series and they were being worked on. Today he posted on another forum that he finally got them finished
