One of my Neighbors always whine when I work on cars at home before i take them to the paint booth, so they called the county. The code enforcement officer showed up while I was hanging new doors on a 2013 Mazda 5. After asking me twenty questions and informing me he could fine 250 dollars a day for working on car e instructed me to remove the tags and buy a cover for them and they will then be considered jun cars and i am allowed to have 2 lol. He then told me who keeps harrassing me about it lol.

LOL someone in our building calls our strata the "parking police". I am on the strata, we have 5 visitor spots underground and someone was storing a car for 6 months in one. There are 88 units so we were gonna tow it, usually a pretty lax strata otherwise. This person was just plain ignorant parking there.

Actually its more they don't want you tearing down a junker or changing oil in the parkades. Its not dumb people are stupid and make a mess.

 

I do work on my vehicles in ny parkade just no fluids.

When I was living in an apartment years ago I had a neighbor that kept prying into my personal life. She had to know the names of the girls I was dating, what they did for a living, where they lived, etc. Then she asked me about income. So I told her the truth- I rob banks for a living.

 

She never spoke to me again after she reported it to the police....
