Moisture in tail lights

Recommended Posts

We haven't had too much rain, just a drizzle here and there lately - but I noticed today that the rear passenger tail light had moisture all over the inside of it. Has anyone else seen this yet? Also, should I hurry up and go to the dealership before it dries up or just wait until it happens again? I'm assuming they're just going to replace a seal hopefully.

Thanks,

I have the same issue but moisture in my headlights....not impressed seeing as the truck is 7 days old.

I have this problem with one of my headlights and one of my fog lights. Pretty annoying.

I'm not sure the dealership will do anything about it

They definitely will look into it. Especially if it gets to the point of blowing fuses because of short circuits caused by the moisture.

Good news guys, went to the dealer Saturday - tech guys took one look at the moisture in my rear tail and said they'd order a brand new one ASAP. Didn't even bother taking it apart or talking about seals so I would go to your dealer and get a new unit installed.
