01 Silverado 6.0 replacement cats

hey,

So I bought a 01 silverado 2500HD 6.0 plow truck a few years ago, and now the muffler is gone and. need to replace. I looked under the truck and it looks like the other owner put a smaller exhaust on this truck, the pipes from the manifolds were cut and looks like they put 2.24 inch and 2.5 after the muffler

this also makes the truck run like garbage

 

I want to put all new 3" tubing like stock but now need new cats, Can I use 3 inch inlet universal slip on cats,

Iam in ontario ,canada so I think I'am ok using universal cats, I already got the proper muffler and tail from the wreckers. (3"-3.5"tail)

Can you go to a salvage yard and see if they have a complete setup with cats on a low mileage one to pull? Ones from 2001-2006(2007 classic) should work. I think the 2007-2010 might even work as the 2007-2010 were basically the same truck with a different skin?

salvage yards here cut out the cats, kenny u pull haa a 2004 2500hd and the cut the cats, I got the muffler ,tail pipe and down pipes

Try NAPA, Correct fit and much cheaper than oem.
