I've been talking with djm for 2 days. The 16s have dofferant ball joints so they are teyung to source the right one. I have a 16 and I'm just waiting on them

Ok ill order those up. I just don't want to pull the stock hanger and I need 6" in the rear.

And are you on 275 55 tire still?

FYI...

Not sure what happened with mine, installed the DJM flip kit which should have been 7" it was more like 8 1/4" when I called DJM they had no answers as to why. LOL

Then I installed their hanger to get a 6" drop it turned out to be 5". No answers for this either.

I took that crap off sent it back and put the Belltech 6" flip kit on and got a 6" drop....

Of course BT is no help with my small vibration issue as I have 4wd and they don't want to offer any help, even though the 2wd and 4wd parts are the same and the kit they sell comes with guess what??? Yep transfer case spacers...HMM...Azzhats

That was a fiasco..

Djm is going to send me 2 ball joints to test fit to my,truck. Then I'm to let them know which one fits. Hopefully this will fix the 2016 djm issue

Are you saying they change the ball joints again? It was either aluminum or steel arms, now a 3rd option?

The 16 bjs are differant and there's 2 differant styles

It's not just the 16's - started with the 14's, aluminum and steel. I have a 16' with steel arms and according to all the literature it should have had aluminum.

Currently all new trucks should have steel as they were moving away from the aluminum arms sometime in the second quarter this year.

But 16s came with 2 types of ball joints. Regular and hd or some shit like that. I have no idea what mine are, even running the vin it doesn't say anything dofferant

CA2007-3 for 3" drop

CA2507-4 for 4" drop

FYI....I would upgrade the ball joints from the start, even though they list a Moog part number as the replacement, they do not install Moog ball joints.

I have done a little research. The 16s come with 2 dofferant sets of steel control arms. 1 is hd avv stamped and he other is gm 25812725.

They are both easy to tell apart. So I sent this info to djm. I'm just waiting to hear back

Can anyone confirm iron or aluminum control arms on the 2016 Z71 silverado? Looking to order DJM Control arms today and not sure which variant to order.

Mine are stamped steel welded together. 2016 LT Max Tow
