No. I bought the 3" arms because I wanted to see how it would be daily. I know I'll be safe with that. If I feel ok with it. Then I'll go lower. I'm not goung to remove the arms a second time

New to the group and getting reacquainted with GM. Anyhow I have a 2016 Silverado RCSB that I'm looking to lower. I to have been in contact with DJM and the individual I'm talking to told me to use the drop kit for the aluminum knuckles.. so needless to say I'm a little confused as to what actually works. Following the thread!

What arms and spindles do you have. I've been doing research like crazy and finally have my kit. I'm installing it next weekend

Cast iron spindles. Not sure on the arms, did not know to check those until I read here. My truck is RWD with a 5.3..

If they are the cast steel like mine you csn use whatever you want besides the aluminum spindle kit

Hmmmm. I'll get a better pic, but yeah if they're the cast and they do look Like it then that's the opposite of what Djm told me. Lol!

I have finally given up on lowering my 16 4x4 RCSB with the new stamped steel control arms. I live in cold country so not many rwd's sitting at the dealer but I actually found an early built 16 crew cab rwd at a dealer near me. They have been sitting on it so I got a decent deal, will just have to get a beater for winter. Anyways, my question is can you go 7" in the rear on the CC's without doing a c-notch?

Assuming that the RC and CC use the same suspension parts from factory, I'd say yes you can do a 7 w/out a notch. You'd only need to cut the factory bump stop. I'm at a 7 w/out a notch on my 2016 RC
