Ok update got everything measured and changed setup. My transmission angle is -5° driveshaft is at 0° and pinion angle is at +5° only vibration I have is under really hard acceleration from about 10 to 25 mph other than that there is no vibration. Since I don't drive it hard I think I'm gonna leave it alone. Thanks for the input guys.

Got some time to tackle the DJM 3/5 drop this past weekend. Already had the Mcgaughys 2/3 drop on it. Lots of work but definitely worth it! Very happy how it turned out, the truck drives great. Also finally got the Ranchos and shock extenders off the rear and got some Belltech Nitrodrop 2s on the back. Got a bunch of additional install pictures i can post up
pretty cool before and after shots. Not a bad transformation for 3 months since I got it

Looks great DanHamilton. Are you 4x4? How does it ride now and how are the front axle angles now?

yup it is 4wd. Angles are perfect, 0 vibrations and no clearance issues. Only thing I may add is Belltech camber adjusters. The DJM upper arms compensate for the camber but it doesn't leave you enough adjustability to get the caster and camber perfect. Camber is set to spec but caster is just a bit off, equal side to side so there is no pull but being the perfectionist I am I want it to be dead on. Fine for now the truck drives great, felt alittle looser and more prone to wheelspin but I was also about out of fuel. Filled it up but haven't driven it since

That looks awesome man! Could you give me the exact part number you ordered from DJM for the kit? Also, do you know if the kit will work ok with my 2016 4x4 RCSB which has the new stamped steel control arms??

Posted

your kit will be different from mine. My truck has/had the aluminum control arms and knuckle. And the rear I already had 2" drop shackles on the truck so I used a 6" drop kit and re used the shackles to save alittle money. If GM hasn't made any changes from 2015 to 2016 you would use CA2007-3 for the front and RK2507-5 for the rear. They list these as up to 2015 and don't say anything about the 2016

So I've browsed about 30+ pages of this thread, doing my homework on wheel offsets. I haven't found a whole lot of conclusive info, so hopefully I can get a bit of advice.

I've got a '16 CC/SB that I'm going to be dropping with a McGaughy's 4/6 drop (currently burning a hole in my living room floor). I'm having custom wheels built for the truck and want to be sure I don't have any rubbing issues. I'm going to be running a 285/35 R24 tire, so I'm currently thinking a 24x9 or 24x9.5 (if possible) would be ideal. What kind of offset will I want to shoot for?

Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Did you guys have the 1.25" factory block in the rear? I want to remove mine but do not know what u bolts I will need or if I can use the same ones?

I used these when I removed my block. 15002781 from GM you can find them on ebay for about 15 bucks each.
