Hey guys, looking to install my belltech rear shackles tonight wondering anyone can give me some quick install directions or pointers? I already removed the rear block awhile ago so that part is done. Also, will I still be able to pull my 22' pontoon ok with the lowering shackles on? TIA

I took the main hitch bolts out, and left the rear mounted to the bumper. I then loosened the rear two bolts on each side almost all the way that bolt the bed to the frame. I took the lower shackle bolt out as I pulled down on the hitch a bit fitting the bolt through the cutout in the hitch bracket. Next I jacked the rear end up using the leaf spring against the seam to lift the bed as well until I could tap the bolt out above the frame. It was tight, but it came out. Maybe I bent the seam slightly by doing this which gave me clearance, but it looks straight still and I didn't have to flatten it.

This is just how I did it and remember to chalk the front tires and use jack stands. Good Luck.

Whats with putting chalk on the front tires?

Sorry. I meant chock the front tires so the truck doesn't roll away when you jack the rear tires off the ground. Safety first....

My 5.3 2016. 4" McGaughys up front and 7" DJM in the rear. No pinion angle issues, no rub, great ride. Damn happy.

Can you please let us know what wheels and tires you have, they look great. thx.

After looking closer... I see what wheels those are, please ignore this post.

So pretty stoked about my parts getting here this morning

Going with belltech lowering struts on the front.

Removing the rear block, 2" drop shackle and belltech shocks for the rear.

Gonna install everything today except for my rear shocks, looks like it will be next week before they get here. Maybe these stock shocks won't be too stiff for a week.

Will post pics later...btw my truck is a z71 4x4
