memory seats

i just purchased a 2014 silverado

bucket cloth with heat and controls

was wondering if i can add the buttons for memory for the seats

since the wife and i like two different settings

There was an earlier thread on this and GM does not officially support this modification. Doesn't mean it can't be done but I haven't seen any threads where this was done, as I would also be interested if it could be done

You would have to replace the door harness if it is anything like the 07 to 13 trucks. the harness under the floor is different as well depending on what other options the seat has. the only way to get that option is to flash the BCM with a vin from a truck that has the option you are wanting. This will require you to replace you xm brain and reverse sensor brain and possibly more modules as some are one time use and are only married to one vin. In all it would be cheaper to buy the truck with the options you want. I have a thread call "found a jewel for you guys" that has a link to the GM up fitters website and you can download the manual to your truck that will have all the wiring for each system.

I'm hearing parts are a little pricey but divin in a junkyard might help offset costs a little.

 

Have yet to get a hold of someone that has done this.

You wont be able to do this via the dealer or GM, you cant get past the programming issue of having the BCM flashed with the correct calibration. GM will not allow that to happen anymore and hasn't since the 2014 trucks hit the market. So unless Chris White can program the BCM, which by the way if you do this and GM ever issues out a recall or update to the BCM you will lose the updates Chris did, then you are dead in the water.
