Me, I'm not. I want a more white light versus the stock yellow halogen. I would like more output, but the HIR has a decent output just crappy color.

Exactly. I'm content with factory output, just want better color.

I'm thinking of installing a set of the Baja Designs SII Wide Cornering LED lights in the fog light positions and selling the HID fog light kit I haven't installed yet. Anyone interested in a set of 25w (won't melt your housings) HIDs, I have a set http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/162691-5202ps24-25watt-hid-kit/?do=findComment&comment=1475811

They should be very bright. But the diodes are only on two sides. It might make a strange beam.

I still have the 25w HID Fog Light kit if anyone is interested. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/162691-5202ps24-25watt-fog-light-hid-kit/

I ended up going with 4 Baja Designs SII LED lights 2160 lumens each, 2 wide beam and 2 long range spots. After reading about all the various lights, I believe these are the best made LEDs for my purposes. Strictly off-road or no other traffic use. Incredible light output and very well controlled. High quality, but pricey. Made in USA. Other thread http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/155567-led-front-light-bars-pods/page-17

^ Very nice! I have had some Baja Designs lights on my dirt bikes and they are great quality.

I just got my 30" bar and 4 Cubes, I plan to mount the LED bar behind the grille and the Cubes in the fog light housing.

What brand did you go with? Link?

I've been wanting to do the fog lights with those for awhile now just cant seem to find time yet. I believe you will be the first so be sure to take lots of pictures through the whole process.

That should be an incredible amount of light. With my setup, aimed the wide beams outward slightly to see sharp turns off-road and wildlife. If you plan to use that much light on the back country highways, you might consider wiring them to shut off with dimming to low beam, lest you fumble around a lot to shut them all off.

Here is the link to the LED Bar, Combo spot/flood - http://www.ebay.com/itm/111396109480?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

On the Cubes, I bought 2 - Spot and 2 - Flood. I plan to put one of each in the housing to get the best of both worlds for lighting.

Can not wait to see how this looks. Want to see LOTS of pics please!

Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to get it all installed, I'll take as many pics as I can. It's stupid HOT here in AZ right now so I'm going to be trying to get it done as fast as I can.

we need photo's when done ??? are you making a fog lite bracket ? looks like a good deal, better then rigid, & cheaper.

Yea, I'll be making my own bracket. I haven't really spent much time looking under the truck to see how I'm going to do it but it should be easy. Hopefully I'll finish the whole install this weekend.

With 15,000 lumens, plus your headlights, you should be able to burn a big hole in the night. My total light with the HID headlights and my LED lights is around 15,000 lumens. It's incredible.
