LED Fog Bulbs & Lights

I am ordering the rigid D2 for the fogs with their mounting kit. I have a 2014 Denali. Tell me about the wiring please? I was thinking about using the stock harness? Thoughts or suggestions please? Thanks

I had my installer just tap into the original harness and I use the factory switch to turn on and off..I use them as my fog lights for everyday driving with no problems..

Edit: meaning that the factory end pieces are still attached along with the new end pieces for the D2s.

I wanted to give everyone an update on the VLED fogs I installed a few days ago. They are brighter, but it is NOT worth the upgrade in my opinion. They look great and match the DRL, but aside from whiter lighting, you're not getting much. The light spread is wider but it is not forward focused.

I'm very concerned about the fit. I honestly don't think this bulb will last once it starts raining or covered in snow/ice etc.... I am tempted to return these bulbs and go back to stock or upgrade to HIDs like Echavez did via thehidguy.com or get some Rigids fogs like others on this forum.

At the same time I installed the fogs, I also did the reverse lights (did not upgrade the third brake light since I am waiting for my ARE cap to be made), the reverse VLED lights are good, much better job than the stock bulb. I am glad I got these bulbs, but I am still going to install additional fogs for more visibility. Again, these bulbs cast a wider light, not focused like spot lights.

The Vleds are mainly for looks IMO...They don't put out as much as the stockers..They are pretty durable though.Mine lasted even with the fixture 1/3 full of water..

lights are extra. If you want to save money these will also fit and much cheaper than Rigid D2 http://www.okledlightbars.com/apps/webstore/products/show/3973643

Also, just a thought if someone does not already have fog lights and the wiring is not already there, you should be able to tap into your headlight wiring to have the LED fog lights on any time your headlights are on. If the fog lights are too bright for normal highway/traffic driving you should be able to just run a wire to the battery and use this harness to add a switch on your dash. http://www.okledlightbars.com/apps/webstore/products/show/3477521

I used the factory wire harness for the fogs - tap in good to go!

Just found these. Dont know if anyone has experience with them. I will most likely be ordering in the next few days anyways.

Rough Country 2" LED Off Road Lights

According to RC the housing measurements are: width 3.20 x height 2.94 , depth 2.85, which by my calculations is almost exactly what the Rigid D2's are that fit their fog light adapter. Worse case scenario if they dont fit I will just send them back.

A few reviews on them that i have read said they are 20% less bright than the Rigids which would make them a good candidate for full time (highway use) fogs.

Absolutely. Big difference. Not just because they are 2600 lumens each, they pass the eye test on the road.

I'm in for pics too. Already had problems with my HIDS. Never had problems with HIDS until now. I wanted to do LEDs but decided to do HIDS instead. Shouldn't of wasted my money.

Just got my lights in. 30" single row in the grill and 54" curved led bar on the roof. I still can't decide what to do on the fogs. I'll Probably get some off brand led cubes that are less bright and use that.

For those with the rigid D2 fog mount kit if you have pics of installing them please post them I'm wanting to know if you can adjust the angle when the lights are in
