LED Fog Bulbs & Lights

My Rigids D2 and fog kit is in. Looks like a week away for the install. Considering the diod thing where the fogs will work for both highs and lows. Planning on tapping into stock wires. I will take some pictures.

Just got my lights in. 30" single row in the grill and 54" curved led bar on the roof. I still can't decide what to do on the fogs. I'll Probably get some off brand led cubes that are less bright and use that.

For those with the rigid D2 fog mount kit if you have pics of installing them please post them I'm wanting to know if you can adjust the angle when the lights are in

This is all I have now. It's just sitting on the table until I make some brackets to mount it in the grill and find a good roof mount for the curved one over the windshield that I like. The led bars are not rigid industries lights if anyone is wondering, though the reflectors/optics of these two bars are very good quality and are the closest to rigid industries optics. I'll keep everyone updated when I finishing installing the lights in the next couple weeks

There not a brand it's just some Chinese led light bars I've been doing lots and lots of research wasting my time on all different types of led bars for different companies and basically 99% of all the companies are buying and reselling Chinese or Korean made led light bars and putting their company logo on the side of the light (rough country and lots more) except Rigid Industries, Baja Designs and I think Vision X and I'm sure there are more. But I'm not gonna lie but bought my lights straight from a Chinese company/warehouse that makes and sells to other companies. The guy I deal with has beed very good to me, easy to talk to/get a hold of, speaks good English, and he emails me every time they have updates to their lights or if they're making bright versions of lights and emails me a new price list of all their items with pictures and specs for each one. And with his prices buying straight from him and not through another company, the prices are so much more attractive to me. And if it the lights go out for some odd reason being a cheaper Led bar I know how to open it up and fix them. And if I can't and my warranty is up then I'll just buy another being that they are that much more affordable.

I think we all ramble on about things sometimes. And oh. Well do you have a price list with specs you could PM me? I am currently looking at putting some pods in my fogs. Was considering the rigids just for the driving pattern.

do you have any dimentions on the lights? I'd like to pair of 4 bulb squares or a 8 bulb double row to replace the weak fog lights.

The 4 and 6 bulb led cubes/pods or whatever people call them are about the same as rigids lights. This is the 4 bulb with new optics:

So I tried to save some money and I ordered the Rough Country LED lights and the Rigid Fog light brackets for the 2014 Sierra.

As it turns out the Rough Country lights have a different bracket mounting point than the Rigid D2 light does. In order to make the RC lights work I was debating drilling a new hole through the side (This would go through the heat shields or whatever they are called) Would this effect anything with the light? I already looked and it wouldnt actually go into the housing of the light at all.

I finished my “fog light” install – they are not for driving in the fog any longer. I wanted some bright lights for rural night time use / off road. I bought these Rigid Industries D2 lights with the driving light pattern. They work great, I actually saw several deer the first time I tested them out.

I made a bracket that attached to the metal structure behind the bumper, and bolted the lights to that – this way I can angle them how I want. I made a metal plate to fill in over the round hole, and screwed it in place.

I am very happy with how it came out.

To those with LED pods, and possible prior knowledge from testing this, do y'all know if it is somehow possible to almost create a cut off line on the pods in your fogs so they can be street legal (or atleast not blind all incoming traffic). I'm thinking kind of like how projectors have the shutter that create a cut off. Could you somehow block off the bottom half, or the top half, of the reflectors in led bars and pods to block the upper light output creating a cut off?

Just some thoughts And questions I had.
