Hate? Whatever gave you that idea? Just making fun of the GM slogan "like a rock" since so many have problems with the seat. .

Oh.... Ha ha, I forgot about that slogan. My apologies...

I don't have cooled seats, just heated leather. We only get about a month of weather that's really hot here, and I didn't like the feel of the heated/cooled seats. That being said, mine don't move at all. I also don't have lane departure. I'm capable of keeping it between the lines. Too much nanny crap on these trucks already.

My truck is a 2014 Silverado and was a demo with 5k miles when I purchased at the end of December. The drivers seat feels as if there is a spring or something moving when you go around a sharp turn such as exit ramp. It then moves back the opposite direction once you complete the turn. Not sure what's up with it but the dealer acts like they can't find anything wrong with it. Very frustrating to say the least. If anyone figures out what's going on please let us all know. Thanks.

Mine pops and moves around turns. Just started about 300 miles ago. @ 3700 now. Power / Heated / Leather have not been to the dealer yet.

Mine is also power/heated/leather seats. I called 800# today and spoke to gentleman at GM. He put in a work ticket and said someone from dealer will call me about it. There is a recall on back part of seat on certain models but I'm not certain if mine is affected or not. I don't think this is related. I will post if I find out something.

The recall on the seat back was for the manual adjuster seats. I took mine in and it was just an inspection on the passenger seat. Took longer to drive to the dealer than they did to inspect it.

Mine was finally fixed today but only because a service bulletin was released this morning regarding this issue. It only took 2 trips to the dealer and a total of 6 days without my truck.

You have any details on this bulletin? Last I talked to the dealer was Thursday but they weren't aware of anything at the time.

Yes more info please, I love my truck, but I hate my drivers seat.

On my work order, it states:

Reinspected as per PI 1183. Performed left front seat update. Lubed pivot points and added retainers. Completed as per PI.

Parts used for this PI:

Qty: 2 Part# 11611745 Desc: Retainer 11.373

Qty:1 Part# 12371287 Desc: Lubricant 8.800

So glad I refused to pick up my truck until something was fixed.
