My main point is the part of the comment saying he cheaped out, which means you're trying to say he wanted AMP steps but couldn't afford them. Which means you're saying the same thing about me and others that don't have AMPs which is why I replied. Also that last comment where you said "or lack there of" means you're trying to say I can't afford AMPs. I guess in that case you're lack of money means you couldn't afford a lift bigger than little 4", or that you didn't get an HD. I guess you cheaped out on the lift size and truck then, especially since you didn't step up to at least a Denali. Only using the same thinking you're using.

Dude, seriously? Stop and think for more than a second... is that really what I meant by that? Grow up man. Try and use that head of yours for something other than a hat rack.

I recently put the Nfabs on my truck and they seem to me to be about 4" -6" too far forward on the steps. Personally I think they make my truck look better but believe the Amp Steps would function better.

I think those look really good man. I like my amps. But I've always heard good things about n fabs and my buddy has those on his new tundra TRD pro. I told him the only thing wrong with the steps is the truck they're on!! Haha

I've heard this as well and I'm on the fence between full length NFABs or AMPs.

 

How annoying are the steps since they're not in the best location?

I don't have the NFABs, so I can't speak to those... but I've got the tubular DeeZee nerf bars, and in my opinion the molded steps on those are also too far forward.

 

Stepping up into the truck is fine, but getting out, the foot placement is a bit unnatural. I've gotten used to it, though.

They are not that bad. My guess is it is more of an issue with the 3 step versus the 2 since they needs place for that 3rd step they may have inched up the other two. Make sense ?

They are not that annoying. Just gotta changed your step pattern.

Just installed the RB10's on my truck. Absolutely love them and just have to get used to stepping out of the truck instead of sliding out. My only gripe is though the correct hardware was provided, the directions were not updated for the 2016 which doesn't have the threaded holes like the 2014-15 supposedly do according to the directions.

Looks good. The RB10 is one of the cleanest looking boards IMO. Functional, but not bulky like the factory 4" tube steps I have.

Installed the Westin HDX Drop Steps yesterday. They look great on a double cab.
