2002 Sierra 2500 mirror question

I just bought a 02 duramax and it has aftermarket mirrors on it that im taking off. My Question is does anyone know if turn signals came stock with these mirrors. There is a cord laying there not hooked up to anything and im just wondering if its for turn signals, or heat. This model doesnt have any power adjustment on it so im not sure what its for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had an '01, with the standard mirrors (not the larger tow mirrors), they had power adjust but no turn signals. The power cable is probably for power adjustment and the aftermarket ones the previous owner installed were basic manual mirrors?

I have a 02 Sierra 2500Hd SLT and I have the power heated mirrors. My guess yours would be close to the same. I don't think they had turn signals option in 02.

In the 2001 and 2002 you cannot add turn signal mirrors. It was not an option. In 2003+ you can through plug and play.
