"Service Trailer brake" Warning in DIC

I don't have any problems with my 2018. Actually I think it's one of the best vehicles that I have owned. Got it new in July 2018 & has 33,000 now. I tow two trailers with it, both have elect brakes, so far all is working well. Maybe the newer trucks have been designed better. I did get a notification of a possible recall for a brake problem, called the dealer & they said they will notify me when to bring it in to have it checked. I have the factory brake controller & it works better than any after market unit I ever had. Thanks for the heads up.Coming up to roc at christmas maybe we can meet up & talk trucks.

  I had the same problem on my 26 Canyon. I went into the setting page and toggled the speed limit indicator into the on position. There was no need for Waze or Google Maps. The speed limit no shows in the HUD as well as on the dash. Hope this helps.

  And I just realized you have to do one more step. Both labels are important. The GVWR in mine is 7200lbs. So that would be the weight of the truck fully loaded correctly. Take that weight and subtract the 1602 lbs for mine (combined total of all the added stuff) and I come out to 5598lbs empty. I hope that helps get you pointed in the right direction.

  Given your chart GB, and the anecdotes we've seen here of what I think were 10L80 transmissions running consistently at 200 degrees and higher under light-ish towing loads I'm very pleased that mine stays around 145, even in high ambient temps. Of course the proof will be in the pudding when I actually pull one of my trailers, but at this point it appears that I won't see temps in the "dangerous" ranges for my tranny.
