Sub Forum Request

The forum is fine, so are the trucks the people as well. Any thing else would be a bore. A little temper every now and then is fun too.

Just want to clarify the Sub-section proposal:

 

- Complaint/problem/issue topics are welcome on this forum and in the current K2 section. Under no circumstances will they banned, discouraged, shunned, etc.

 

- The 2014's appear to have a large number of issues. Whether that's due to actual part/assembly failures or increased traffic/membership on the forum is debatable.

 

- Sections currently exist for specific areas such as Wheels & Tires or Audio & Electronics. The K2 section of the forum will not get any additional K2 dedicated areas, as they would conflict/overlap with the previously existing and well functioning sections. This proposal is for a problems/issues/complaints sub-section only.

 

- The proposal would simply create a sub-section, similar to having a very large pinned topic at the top, which all GM part/assembly issues or warranty related complaints would be organized. The idea being, if you have a problem/issue/complaint that is due to the manufacturer or dealer, you can click the sub-forum, and all the specific topics covering those problems are neatly organized for your browsing/searching. The K2 main section would remain for any 2014 posts not related to manf/dealer issues.

 

 

I think this forum is amazing and I'm not trying to make waves. I simply believe MTB has a valid suggestion, and if it can improve how members experience/navigate the K2 section, I'm all for it.

I think your efforts would be better served combining duplicate threads and removing duplicate posts. I am sure your idea of what constitutes a manuf. defect and what is a nice to have gripe or complaint is different than mine. Like I said if you want to create a forum where all the posts remain positive ala apple fanboyish knock your self out. The GM CSR's that pop up here with little or no usefull purpose other than taking down your vin would like that better. Like all forums the choice to view a thread or not remains with the viewer not the moderator
