Go simple and get a 4" suspension lift it will give you more clearance without being so high that you can't haul a gooseneck. I have a 7" full throttle suspension lift with the 6.25" block in the rear if I had the money I'd have done he add a leaf kit. If you can find a 4" kit with add a leaf do it considering you're doing work with the truck.

Body lifts are stupid. I don't recommend them for work trucks, those are what the kids around here stack under their trucks to try and be bigger then every one else on a budget, but end up wearing out due to abuse.

Like I said 4" won't wear ya out getting in and out and will give you a bit of clearance and you should be fine with a gooseneck.

I agree with Sarah on this, just get a 4" BDS lift, BDS makes great off-road lifts.

what size of tires are recommended on a 4"? I keep looking at 18" wheels, and wondering what looks proportionate with the truck on a 4" lift. I hear that you cant really avoid rubbing on a 6" lift going with 35" tires. So with a 4" can you get a 33" tire on an 18" wheel, avoid rubbing, and looking good and proportionate?

You can clear 35"s with a level on an LML. That truck you posted has 20's and 35's. I personally wouldn't get 18 inch rims, 20's and 35s will clear and look awesome

I was told that you would get rubbing on GMCs with 35"s, "that's just the way they are". I am assuming they've done plenty of lifts on LML trucks????

That's awesome news. I've got to be honest, been leaning towards a BDS 6.5" lift, with 20" wheels and 35" tires. Totally scrap the idea of hauling 5th wheel trailers, can still pull bumper hitch. Should look good and be happy with that config.
