Opinion needed on GMC wheels for SLT Z1

I am trying to decide whether or not to have the dealer swap out my chrome honeycomb SLT wheels for the more standard 6-spoke brushed aluminum 20s. My gut tells me that I prefer the 6-spoke over the chrome "bling" but I am worried I will make the wrong choice. My first choice would be to trade for some brushed honeycomb All terrain wheels, but I doubt that will ever be available. Any opinions on which looks better? I pulled a graphic of each option off the GMC website. I will be running my BFG Rugged Terrains on these.

 

I think the main thing that bugs me is that those crhome wheels show up as an extra $1000 option over the 6-spoke. I dont see how they could be worth that much but if I paid that in my sticker price them I feel like i am just tossing that money away :-( Also, I dont know if these 6-spoke wheels more common on the SLEs would lessen the value and resale of my SLT.

I personally like the SLE 20's and painted black or a deep grey woulf look good on a dark truck

That might look cool. I wouldnt mind the ones I have now if they were dipped in "black chrome" that looks more of a gunmetal color rather than the shiny bling bling chrome. I dont hate it, but its not my absolute favorite.

Tough choice...both have great appeal to me, especially with an Iridium truck. My vote goes to the 6 spoke aluminum.

I like the SLT chrome 20's but I also like chrome wheels to break up the color a bit. I do not like the offset of the new 20's though

Unless your going for the blackout look I would put the chrome wheels on the truck. The irridium metallic is to dark for the aluminum wheels you need some chrome man.

I was on the fence, but after seeing TexasRadar's truck, I think I might keep the ones I have. the leveling kit and removal of airdam makes sucha huge difference in look. Thanks for the advice!
