Good Old Exhaust Flapper

Well gents got my fire flash done the other day all was well till this morning. -40c this morning and started my truck with key fob, all was well until it timed out. Went out to start with key and putter poof poof nothing. Call my dealer and my salesmen said I know what that is it's your flapper valve. I said What the hell you talking about? Long story short I took my rubber mallet gave her a few wacks and well what do you know the truck starts flawless after that.

 

Moral of the story, carry a rubber mallet with you to start this "new" technology.

 

fyi: salesmen says they are coming out with a fix for this, I say cut the dame thing out!

You can cut it out, but you get a nasty droning sound when putting around in V4 mode. Maybe cutting it out and getting a the Range AFM removal mod?

 

I've been lucky, it's been as cold as -11, but nowhere close to -40 you neighbors to the North get
